I was pretty excited when I was asked by Annie and her mom to do Annie’s senior photos on the beach in Truro, MA. I’m a Cape girl at heart, so I’ll take any excuse to get down there, especially the outer Cape.

Anyone who has been to a Cape Cod beach knows that the dunes are breathtakingly gorgeous, and are also fairly steep. Annie and her mom were both troopers though, and so when I suggested we go hiking up them, they didn’t even flinch. The shoot went perfectly, Annie is a natural in front of the camera. She even pulled her mom in for some photos toward the end of the shoot! I’m glad I thought ahead and brought my Hasselblaad, there’s something extra special about film photography that I love incorporating into portraiture shoots.
